  • Adequate vs. Best

One of the common mistakes I see Hiring managers make is deciding to work with multiple recruiters.

No, that is not a typo.

I am aware that may be the opposite of everything you’ve heard or what you’re currently doing in your business.

    But here’s the thing…

When you work with multiple recruiters the key focus is speed rather than quality.

    Let me explain…

When a recruiter knows you are working with other recruiters, they are now in competition with each other. So, it becomes more about who can deliver an adequate candidate to you first, rather than what it should be, who can provide the best candidate.

Imagine knowing you’ve got to be out of the door by 9 am and seeing that the time is 8:56 am right in the middle of loading the dishwasher…
You want to finish the job, but you need to get into the office early to prepare for your meeting. So, are you going to load the dishwasher perfectly?
Are all the plates and bowls going to be lined up on the shelf? Is every glass going to be turned the right way up and in its place?
Or is it more likely that you’ll do what you can as quickly as possible (an adequate job). Shove in the plates and cups vaguely in the right places, throw in a dishwasher tablet for good measure and turn on the machine so you can get out to your meeting on time.

The question you need to ask yourself is…

Are you confident that the candidate your recruiter will deliver to you is going to be a TOP performing Asset Finance or Motor Finance professional?

If you’re ready to attract the top 1% of talent in the Asset or Motor Finance sector, you need us.
