    Relationship Executive (Field based)

    Working for the Asset Finance division of a leading manufacturer of commercial vehicles. This is a field-based sales role a mix of account management and the objective of this exciting role is to support commercial vehicle dealerships, in their role of selling new and used commercial vehicles. Working alongside the Area Sales Manager, this will be achieved by excellent account management, building strong relationships with the sales teams, managing the sales process and working in partnership with the management teams, in order to
    develop local strategies to achieve both parties’ objectives.

    This direct sales role is not limited to the funding opportunities available from vehicle sales, as the Relationship Executive will also be tasked to fund competitor equipment. Using our broker service, it is our aim to build a broker type relationship with the customer, providing solutions for all of their funding requirements. In addition to this, the
    the successful candidate will also have goals set for the sale of related insurance products and other Scania products and services.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    * Manage within the region, ensuring that all requirements of all parties are
    * Manage the sales process and the quality of referrals & introductions.
    * Proactively develop profitable new business on new vehicles & competitor equipment.
    * Work with the dealer’s sales teams to identify and develop new business opportunities.
    * Identify and develop appropriate campaigns to support and drive the sale of vehicles
    * Complete management reports as required.
    * Achieve income and penetration goals set for the funding of vehicles.
    * Achieve income and volume goals set for the profitable funding of competitor equipment.
    * Achieve goals set for the sale of insurance products.
    * Protect and promote the brand
    * Prepare credit proposals for approval by the credit team and/or Head Office as required
    * Maintain an up to date knowledge of technical, legal and internal developments relevant to finance and insurance programmes and implement or recommend necessary and appropriate changes, involvement, and investment by the company.

    Other :

    The Relationship Executive will be dealer based but will be required to travel as required. You will attend meetings, conferences, training courses and seminars as requested.

    Key Competencies/Skills Required:

    The Relationship Executive will have or gain the following:
    A full clean driving licence.
    Excellent account management skills.
    The ability to interpret financial and commercial information
    The drive and enthusiasm to work remotely in order to fulfil their duties.
    Very good Asset Finance product knowledge and the ability to present and sell asset finance solutions.
    Excellent commercial acumen and the ability to forge strong working partnerships with key people
