    Broker Manager – Motor Finance

    The role is an Account Manager role, meeting with Brokers and Introducers face to face to carry out Audits, you not have to have had experience of carrying out Audits as this can be trained, we are looking for a strong Account Manager/Relationship Manager with experience of working within an FCA environment

    Essentially the job holder will undertake audits of brokers and other agents in line with the compliance monitoring plan, working in close collaboration with the Risk Manager, Regulatory Advisory Manager and Internal Audit Manager to ensure that the Risk and Compliance team fulfil the requirements of the compliance model, and to represent our client to the third party suppliers ensuring that business relationships are maintained to the highest ethical standards and deliver good customer outcomes.

    Your Role and Responsibilities:

    * Responsible for the day to day management of the audit processes of introducers and agents across the UK
    * Work closely with the Risk and Compliance Director to plan resourcing requirements in support of strategic objectives of the Risk and Compliance department
    * Accountable for ensuring that appropriate feedback is provided to the Heads of Function on the findings of the audit activities of introducers and agents associated with their function.
    * Providing support to the Broker Management Team by ensuring that appropriate auditing processes and reporting models are in place, monitoring and developing them as appropriate.
    * Responsible for providing support to all departments on all regulatory compliance matters involving introducers and agents.
    * Responsible for advising the Broker Management team in the design and operation of their onboarding of dealers, introducers and agents.

    * Be a leader, with a natural empathy for the customer experience
    * Have significant face to face emptor finance account management experience and natural leadership and motivational qualities
    * Knowledge and understanding of FCA regulations
    * Be a self-starter, who can multi-task in a demanding environment
    * Have a proactive management style and possess a solutions focused approach to challenges
    * Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills

    Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required:

    Essential:

    * Previous experience in a FCA/FSA regulated consumer credit environment
    * Experience of working within the motor finance industry
    * Previous face to face account management or supplier management experience
    * Experience of working with third party suppliers both on and off site
    * Proven leadership skills, particularly in a fast moving, empowered environment
    * Experience of operating in front of Board level personnel
    * Experienced and skilled in relationship management
    * Experience of the preparation and analysis of Management Information and the ability to analyse information to establish an approach for further action.
    * Excellent written and verbal communication skills combined with the ability to network and build effective internal and external relationships at all levels
    * Microsoft Word and Excel skills
    * Valid clean driving license

    Additional Information:

    Please note that this role will require extensive UK travel and overnight stays.
