Julie Ramsay, previously Managing Director of THC Recruitment, has sold the business which she founded, saying, “This acquisition is positive news and represents a time of growth for the business”.
Julie will remain with the business as a consultant and explains she has enjoyed passing over her considerable knowledge and expertise to Rajesh. It is very much business as usual: colleagues Vicky Maynard and Anne LaForce will remain with the business and THC is appointing an additional asset finance recruitment consultant.
Julie says, “It has been a pleasure introducing Rajesh to the business and I know he is looking forward to this new venture. Tech has become an increasingly important element in the mix of recruitment needs for UK asset finance lenders. When I decided the time had come to retire I wanted to find a new owner who could deliver that additional need for our clients, while my team delivered the asset finance expertise that has always been the hallmark of THC.”
Managing Director Rajesh Dasari acquired THC Recruitment in October and has been working with Julie to manage a seamless transition. Dasari has worked in IT project management roles at Vodafone, London Clearing House, RBS, Barclays, LeasePlan, Brewin Dolphin, Legal and General.
Rajesh Dasari says, “I take immense pride in leading THC Recruitment, a company that has been delivering outstanding recruitment services to the Asset Finance and Motor Finance industry for more than two decades. Excitingly, we are now extending our services to encompass IT recruitment within the industry.
“I have held various IT Project Management roles at Vodafone, London Clearing House, RBS, Barclays, LeasePlan, Brewin Dolphin, Legal and General, I have met so many great talented people at all levels. There is no doubt that I always feel proud about delivering complex regulatory initiatives within budget and timelines however Technologies and Processes are only as good as the People around them. That’s why my emphasis has always been on people rather than strategies.
“Given my expertise in building high-performing teams, attracting the right talent, and gaining a deeper understanding of individuals, I see this recent acquisition as an opportunity to make a significant positive impact. Julie, with her exceptional industry knowledge, has been instrumental in facilitating a seamless transition.
“I am well aware of the prevailing market challenges faced by both employers and employees, including accelerated wage inflation, skill shortages, and low talent retention rates. Leveraging my proficiency in both IT and people management, I aspire to be a catalyst for positive change and leave an enduring mark on the industry. I look forward to working with various industry experts and contribute to the continued success and expansion of THC Recruitment.”
Julie adds, “Asset and Motor Finance lenders are increasingly aware that they need automated processing and great tech to support to optimise both customer experience and operational efficiency. With our enhanced IT recruitment service we can source the right technology talent and help lenders get the best from their digital platforms.”
