Salary:
To locate and purchase vehicles at or above the agreed negotiated terms, in line with company guidelines and within our service level agreements/targets.
Progress vehicle orders with suppliers and establish accurate proposed stock dates in accordance with service level agreements/ targets. Ensure that the dealers are updating orders in the pipeline via the internet every week. Process weekly reports if no access to the internet.
Monitor/manage suppliers & 3rd Party Suppliers who fail to update orders in a timely fashion in conjunction with Dealer evaluation procedures.
Ensure that latest product/specification information is held within the department for each manufacturer.
Liaise with suppliers to arrange delivery of vehicle orders exactly as requested by the customer, including the return of competitor’s vehicles
Liaise with customers and the relevant engineer to organise delivery of vehicle orders in accordance with their procedures.
Progress, arrange and confirm vehicle deliveries using our in-house computer system and internet links, as appropriate.
Follow up with dealers any late return vehicles on key for key exchanges and record failures to meet agreed time-scales on the dealer issue log.
To log and record supplier issues as and when they arise
To help resolve delivery problems by using excellent negotiation and decision-making skills whilst taking into account the area of responsibility, customer satisfaction and any implications to the company. Involve the relevant engineer.
Apply and demonstrate clear thinking values and behaviours
To comply with regulatory and legislative requirements including TCF(Treating Customers Fairly) principles
To promote the fair treatment of customers in decisions and actions undertaken
Log and record complaints and issues raised by the customer.
