Job Description
You will be working for one of the UK’s largest Banks selling Asset Finance Solutions directly to businesses with a turnover between £1 million and £30 million.Deal sizes will vary from anywhere between £5,000 and £3,000,000 and can be for all types of Asset’s including Print, Construction, Vehicle, I.T., Software, Office Furniture and General Capital Equipment
Many of your clients will come from internal bank references. Relationship Managers will be responsible for understanding their client’s needs and offering a quick financial solution to secure the business.
- Products and services offered by the bank include Hire Purchase, Contract Hire, Operating Lease, Finance Lease and Credit Lines.
- Manage and sustain a fluid portfolio of Larger Business customers (credit lines in excess of £300,000) and deal with large and often complex transactions
- Deliver Asset Finance Customer Value Proposition
- Establish and secure asset finance sales opportunities to meet customer needs and own performance targets by maintaining existing income sources and identifying areas of growth and new business acquisition opportunities (via both existing Bank relationships and non-Bank relationships)
- Responsibility for development of non-Bank customer base (customers with a turnover in excess of £15million)
- Responsible for the quality of initial credit applications taking into account the environment in which customers operate and current Bank credit policy and procedures
Essential
- Detailed knowledge of the Asset Finance products, services and policies required to undertake the role:
- Detailed knowledge of the features and benefits of the Asset Finance product set that create maximum value and are the financial drivers of External Sales
- Good working knowledge of mandatory Risk policies and procedures relating to governance, regulatory, compliance, operational and legal risk
